| We were slightly disappointed by our stay at Hotel Andersen, the staff were fairly pleasant, but the room was tired and in need of an update, the carpets were flithy and the shower was a bit of a nightmare. The breakfast was ok, but could be improved - on the first day they couldn't seem to cope with the large amount of people at breakfast, so it was difficult to get a table which was clean or food to eat. But the following morning was a distinct improvement, with less people in the hotel. Location is good, about 10-15min walk to Metro station, also close to supermarkets. Probably wouldn't stay here again. |

| Останавливаюсь в этом отеле далеко не первый раз и всегда полностью доволен: расположение - старая часть Питера, тихой переулок, много зелени, номера чистые и убранные, хороший ресторна и завтраки. Разве что чуть далековато от метро, минут 15 пешком по шумному Каменноостровскому. Но все достоинства перекрывают этот маленький минус |

| The hotel is quite far from the central city but reachable by 10 minutes walk from metro station. The staff were very helpful. We had a business lunch at hotel, but there was almost nothing to eat as we came 10 minutes before closing time. They still charged us fully price for the lunch. Breakfast was good enough and room clean. |

| Prima kamers met airconditioning. Er was een ontbijtbuffet, lift, gratis internet via een pc naast de receptie. Metrohalte is op 5-10 minuten lopen. Heel rustige buurt, weinig verkeer voor de deur.
Het hotel mag voor de buitenlandse gasten wel beter gordijnen aanschaffen. De white nights zijn echt heel wit, om half 1 's nachts is het nog licht. Dan zouden donkere, zware gordijnen prettig zijn, maar dat was niet het geval.
Bij de receptie kan je een kabel voor internet krijgen, maar ik kreeg geen verbinding naar internet op mijn labtop. |

| This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Andersen while traveling with my mom. Each time, the hotel has been clean and comfortable, and we've always felt safe there. The hotel has front desk, bar and restaurant staff who speak English very well. This is very helpful, since my Russian language skills are extremely limited. We've also found them to be accomodating of specific needs. This is not a 4 star hotel (nor does it claim to be), so it isn't overly luxurious. However, it is comfortable and a fair price. It is a bit far from the city center. Hoever, the metro is pretty easy to take, about 1 km away and just 1 stop from the city center. |

| Hotel was situated well for our needs. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms were clean and tidy and adequate for our needs. Mosquitoes were a problem in one room but other room had none. Breakfasst was good variety and set us up well for the day. Very little English spoken but managed to commuicate well and both us and hotel staff understood what both sides were needed so fine. Good experience. |

| this is a good hotel: the rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is very good, there's a 24-hour bar and an internet terminal in the lobby. on the downside, it's about a ten-minute walk from the metro, and two stops from the city center. it's about a 20-minute (10 minutes walking, 10 minutes on the metro) commute to nevsky prospekt. furthermore, it's kind of pricey, but so is everything else in russia, so it's not outlandish or anything. overall it's a good deal. |

| The air conditioning was not on when we arrived, after four complaints the maintenance man came and turned it on. It never got cool in the room and it really wasn't that hot outside. Fairly close to a Metro stop and easy access to the city center. |
